Support for Families
in Flanders
Moving to a new country comes with many questions, especially when it comes to your child's health, development, and well-being.
In Flanders, Opgroeien is the central Flemish government agency that helps families find the support they need - from pregnancy through young adulthood.

What is Opgroeien?
Opgroeien (which means "growing up" in Dutch) is responsible for coordinating and supporting services that focus on the well-being of children, young people, and families.
Whether you need childcare, financial assistance, or help navigating complex family situations, Opgroeien is a key resource to all the matters.
Read below for the different packages included in their services.
